About us/Rotverket (The Root Office)

Rotverket AB: is an agroforestry consulting and communication agency, and a shared platform for projects and collaborations we pursue together or individually.

Founded by Anders Lindén and Maja Lindström Kling, Rotverket grew out of a shared engagement in the international agroforestry movement. Our collaboration began in the summer of 2022 at Rydeholm, where Maja and her family stayed for several weeks—an encounter that later resulted in the film “"The forest garden at Rydeholm”, based on interviews with Anders.

Over the years, we have also worked closely within Agroforestry Sweden, a non-profit association dedicated to advancing agroforestry through education, communication, collaboration, and policy work.

About us:

Maja Lindström Kling - [email protected]

Maja Maja is an award-winning filmmaker (including the Guldbagge Award), photographer, graphic designer, and project manager. She served as a board member of Agroforestry Sweden from 2021 to 2025.

Since 2019, she has been producing films portraying agroforestry pioneers. At Agroforestry Sweden, she contributed to the financing and organization of an agroforestry conference at SLU in Alnarp, Sweden’s Centre for Agricultural Sciences, as well as to the booklet "Agroforestry for Swedish conditions" (photography, layout, and coordination) and two short films.

She also initiated, organized, and documented the international collaborative project Unhide Agroforestry, supported by Erasmus+, which resulted in the film “I’m a Tree” and the booklet “Unhide Agroforestry.”
